Key capabilities of Ootbi’s 1.5 release include:
- Increased Capacity: The new 192TB appliance supports up to 768TB of immutable backup storage per cluster, ensuring ample capacity for large-scale backups.
- Scalability: Seamless integration with Veeam 12.2 allows Ootbi clusters to extend backup storage capacities beyond 3PB, utilising Veeam’s scale-out backup repository (SOBR).
- Enhanced Security: Continuous third-party security testing, along with support for network time security (NTS) and named admin features, further strengthens the platform’s security.
